A Cold and Snowy Cemetery

Only the silent travel of deer

light sinking

the true green and red of winter

shadows, quiet shadows

pale orbs in rose and lavender

brave sun

broken winged, capped in snow

mists settle in the canyon beyond

a cold peace

the warmth of remembrance

autumn's colors still clinging above

The twisting, turning, spiral of seasons

generations unfolding year after year

nature wanders, leaving stories in time
