The baby that kept me from blogging
I've been absent from the blogging world for over a week. Long story, which hopefully I'll find time to tell in greater detail when I return home in a few days, but for now, I'd like to upload a few photos so you can all bask in the loveliness that is my new granddaughter.

We're finally home, or rather, we're back at Joe and Lisa's home.
Joli is practicing the art of:
- nursing
- frowning with her eyebrows
- getting her diaper changed without alerting all of San Diego county
- being held
- looking adorable
Lisa is practicing:
- nursing
- walking on her new center of gravity
- how to keep a hat on a baby's head
- functioning with hardly any sleep
Joe is practicing:
- saying with complete awe "I have a daughter"
- the "papa" dance
- showing everyone he knows a photo of his daughter
- being the humble servant to yet another female

she's beautiful! this was apparently a good week to be born - my girlfriend just had a baby girl on the 5th.

Laume, Joli is just absolutely, perfectly GORGEOUS! Congratulations, please pass that on to Joe and Lisa as well! Enjoy your new granddaughter!

I don't know how Joe and Lisa are doing with their list, but Joli is succeeding admirably with #5. She's gorgeous!!!!
